SSU preserves are outdoor classrooms and living laboratories where students of all ages and backgrounds study human-environment interactions.
Decades of research has shown that learning outdoors improves problem-solving and communication and benefits us intellectually, physically and emotionally. SSU leverages these outdoor benefits to boost educational experiences for students of all disciplines.
Reservations are required. Visits by anyone engaged in education, research, or art are encouraged.
