As CEI's Preserves Manager, Cali oversees strategic planning of the Galbreath Wildlands Preserve, Fairfield Osborn Preserve, Los Guilicos Preserve, and the campus Native Plant Garden and Campus Corridor. She is responsible for management strategies for lands and facilities, coordinating research and fostering regional collaborations with agencies, non-profits, local tribes, and academic institutions to advance biodiversity and sustainability goals. She also handles emergency responses, ensures regulatory compliance, and supervises staff and students involved in preserve and garden activities.

Hailing from New Jersey, Cali came to Sonoma County through an AmeriCorps program, where she worked for the Sonoma Ecology Center. Following her AmeriCorps service, she was hired by the Sonoma Ecology Center where she improved park operations and volunteer engagement at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park and Sonoma Garden Park. With a strong foundation in Environmental Science from Flagler College, where she earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude with a minor in Political Science, Cali is also certified as a California Naturalist, Wilderness First Aid responder, Volunteer Management specialist, and a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL). Her work reflects a commitment to enhancing ecological resilience, community involvement, and effective land management practices.
