As program coordinator for the Galbreath Preserve in southern Mendocino County, Margot works closely with local students, community members and organizations to help them learn about, understand, appreciate and begin to take responsibility for our diverse, robust natural world through exploration activities on the Preserve. She worked in the Bay Area in environment education and community leadership for over 20 years and throughout her life has spent her weekends working and playing on her family’s ranch. She and her husband are now living on that ranch which is adjacent to the Preserve.
“This is my dream job,” Margot explains. “I get to work in the field, help others explore their world, contribute to preserving our precious resources and constantly learn.”
