Ridge View 360 View

The Preserve lies on the northwest shoulder of Sonoma Mountain. The upper portion of the Preserve is dominated by non-native annual grasses. Some patches of perennials native grasslands remain and have been mapped as part of the Preserve's ongoing grassland management activities.

A number of landmarks are visible at this viewpoint (2,160 feet), including the Valley of the Moon, Sugarloaf State Reservation, Annadel State Park, Mount Saint Helena, and the towns of Rohnert Park, Cotati and Santa Rosa. (Photo: Kristi Yost, 6/7/2012, 2:05:12 PM)
