Habitat comparisons of herptofauna diversity
Habitat comparisons of herptofauna diversity
Geisner et al 2019: We investigated how habitat influences the presence of amphibians and reptiles. We recorded species under coverboards and natural cover in three habitat types: marsh, woodland and grassland. Grassland coverboards had the greatest diversity. This research can be continued in future years in order to determine how the species will change seasonally as well as year to year during different environmental conditions.
