Abstract

Remote environmental sensing often relies on cloud servers and commercial gateways, which can be expensive and lack custom privacy and flexibility. This project investigates two wireless communication protocols, LoRaWAN and LoRaP2P, to develop a customized and cost-effective remote sensing infrastructure.
