Nesting Ecology of the Northwestern Pond Turtle on a Managed Livestock Rangeland
Abstract
Western Pond Turtles (WPT) are California's only freshwater turtle and are experiencing major population declines across their range. There is a limited published research on their resting behavior, including key information on their nest site characteristics.
